Guangxi is a multi-ethnic area. Here, 12 ethnic groups, including Zhuang, Han, Miao, Yao, Dong, Gelao, Shui, Beijing, Maonan, Hui, Yi and Mulao, have lived for generations. Among them, Zhuang is the most populous ethnic minority in China at present, while Jing, Maonan and Mulao are the only three ethnic minorities in Guangxi. Each nationality has a long history and splendid culture, which makes Guangxi full of strong ethnic customs.
