Happy Mid-Autumn Festival! Mid-Autumn festival is on the 15th day of the eighth month of the lunar calendar every year. This year it is on 17/09/2024. The festival dates back to the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907), then it prevailed through the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and was handed down through the centuries until today. Enjoying the full moon's beauty and family reunion on this day have been a long-standing tradition of Chinese custom for centuries. The roundness of the full moon expresses people's desire for a wholesome happy family. Eating delicious moon cakes is also necessary during the Mid-Autumn festival. The China Cultural Center in Luxembourg sends you the best wishes for the Mid-Autumn Festival!
