On the 12th October, the lecture on the Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture was held at the China Cutural Center in Luxembourg.
Jia Jinying from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University gave the audience a lecture on Chinese medicine culture titled "Medicine, Food and Health Care". Jia introduced the topic of food therapy from "Shennong's Classic of Materia Medica" and "Yellow Emperor's Classic of Internal Medicine", introduced the audience to the different attributes of food cold, hot, warm and cool, and introduced 11 types of food with medicinal properties.
Afterward, six Chinese medicine experts from Henan Province provided health consultations to the public. The audiences were able to experience the profoundness of the traditional Chinese medicine culture.
